PTI filed a petition Against Maryam Nawaz

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf filed a petition in the Court Against Maryam Nawaz

Maryam Nawaz has been nominated as vice president for PML- N. It has complete strategic planning by PML-N management for her appointment. Shahbaz Sharif is not in the country and the party is looking for some responsible person as their “party leader”.

Ex-prime minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif is also in the Kot Lakhpat Jail. But the government’s officials are not happy with this decision because of the following reasons:

  1. If a person is culprit or nominated as disqualified from the accountability court, then such individual cannot be selected for any important public seat.
  2. PTI’s party leaders are claiming that “political party position” is not a private seat or property. ( it is a public seat as it has effects on the political system of Pakistan and PML N is also in opposition benches so, Maryam Nawaz should be given the order to leave this position of vice president.
  3. Party president Mr. Mian Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif is in London. In this scenario, she will use all powers as party president.
  4. PTI still believes that Maryam Bibi should quality the article 62 and 63 of the constitution first before appearing in the assembly.

Logical Reason Behind the Petition:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers are thinking, if Maryam Nawaz, is given any important position or status in party then it would be equal to “ Nawaz Sharif” is given power again indirectly to take decisions for political issues. Another thing is some workers are not happy with Shahbaz Sharif & company especially with Rana Sanaullah. They believe Maryam Nawaz is capable of leading the party even they are declaring her next “PM” of Pakistan.

Why do we see such sentiments now-a-days? The answer is very logical, Nawaz Sharif has not very bright chances for NRO or release from the prison very soon but the party leadership is giving signal to all parties in this way, “if no Nawaz then Maryam is all ready to take up the charge”.
