PM Imran challenges Modi to hold a referendum in Indian occupied Kashmir


Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said here on Sunday that Pakistan is standing with the people of Kashmir.

After the Indian government has revoked Article 370, people living in the occupied regions are suffering badly. He assured them that Pakistan is making efforts to give relief to the Kashmiris.

PM Imran Khan Challenges Modi 

“Pakistan will continue its full moral, political and diplomatic support until the Kashmiri people realize their legitimate right to self-determination in accordance with the United Nations Charter and the applicable UN Security Council resolutions,” he added.

Prime Minister Imran Khan further revealed that Modi has been doing all this to gain political gains.

She stated that “In the recent local elections in occupied Kashmir, all parties there boycotted the election.”

Kashmir issue at the international forum

Prime Minister Imran Khan has raised the Kashmir issue at the international forum. He has discussed the Indian brutalities in the occupied regions with all the prominent leaders in the world.

“I told the American president and the British prime minister, among other world leaders, of the injustices that the Indian Army is committing against the people of occupied Kashmir.”

Moreover, he also urged the Indian prime minister to hold a referendum in the occupied region.
