Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched ‘Pakistan Citizens’ Portal’ in October 2018. The basic aim of this portal was to timely address the needs and complaints of the citizens. A lay man in Pakistan can even register his complaint at this portal without the interruption of political source or high authority. It was also necessary to get feedback from the masses.

PM Imran Khan stated on Tuesday that “As of today over one million citizens have registered at ‘Pakistan Citizens Portal’ within 8 months of its launch.”

Imran Khan took to his Twitter handle and announced the news with #PMHazirHai.

He further stated that “On the resolution front: a total of 6,80,000 complaints were resolved out of 8 lakh complaints registered so far. This is true citizens’ empowerment. This is Naya Pakistan.”

He also mentioned that “this is a testament of people’s trust in the system and its effectiveness. No political or bureaucratic reference required to reach out to a public office.”
