PM Imran Khan felicitates on Turkey’s Republic Day, writes letter to Erdogan

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has felicitated the people living in Turkey on its 96th Republic Day. He has written a letter to the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and congratulated him on the 96th Republic Day of Turkey.

He has exchanged his greetings and sincere wishes with the people and the Turkish government in his letter.

He wrote, “This historic day symbolizes the courage of the Turkish nation against the forces of colonization and its subsequent march on the path to development and prosperity. The valiant stance of Turkish people inspired millions around the globe.”

He went on saying that Pakistan sees Turkey as a close friend and brother.

“Pakistan considers Turkey as a dear brother and a close friend.

We look forward to further deepen the historic bond between the two countries for the mutual benefit of our people, and for the peace and prosperity for our respective regions.”
