PM Imran Khan to advocate Kashmir’s cause at UN: Firdous


Islamabad: On Tuesday, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has informed the nation that soon Prime Minister Imran Khan will be taking the Kashmir issue to the UN.

He mentioned that he advocates the Kashmiris’ cause at the United Nations General Assembly. Moreover, in Pakistan, every Friday would mark some activities to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir.

While addressing a press conference, she said that the cabinet has approved of PM Imran Khan’s decision to observe every Friday as the Kashmir Solidarity Day.

Moreover, Dr. Firdous also mentioned that Mushahid Hussain Sayed from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Naveed Qamar from Pakistan People’s Party have also given their approval about the government’s support and priorities on Kashmir issue.

She declared that Prime Minister Imran Khan has assured his nation that he would take the Kashmiris’ cause to the UN. He said that not only the government but the people, and the leadership of Pakistan would also support Kashmiris till their last breath.
