Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has visited the land of Azad Jammu and Kashmir here on Wednesday. Sources revealed that he has visited the affected areas of Muzaffarabad in order to review the relief operations.
It is worth noticing that Azad Jammu and Kashmir experienced a severe kind of land sliding and avalanche that caused immense damage. The death toll rises to 76 due to heavy rain, snowfall and land sliding.
AJK Chief Secretary Mathar Niaz Rana has briefed PM Imran about the loss caused by the landslide and snow fall. While briefing about the loss of life and property he told PM that the recent snowfall has taken the life of almost 67 while 53 got severely injured. Moreover, 198 houses, 22 shops, one mosque, and 12 vehicles were affected by the landslide and snowfall.
PM Imran Khan also visited the Combined Military Hospital CMH Muzaffarabad and sought a detailed report on the facilities given to the patients. He inquires about the health of the injured persons as well.

AJK President Sardar Masood Khan and PM Raja Farooq Haider, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur and many other civil and military officers were present during the visit.
