Islamabad: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has demanded a new prime minister be elected as part of a two-month interim setup here on Sunday.
PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal mentioned on Geo News’ programme ‘Naya Pakistan’ that new elections should be held. He stated that Pakistan is going really worst in the economic field. To make Pakistan’s economic condition stable, it is necessary to call for new elections.
He said, “Pakistan’s economy is tanking because of Imran Khan and the PTI is also going down because of him.”
He blames PM Imran Khan and the PTI government for not fulfilling its promises and making the lives of the poor so pathetic. He demanded that it is very necessary to elect a new prime minister for the country for two months.
In his views, the new prime minister will focus on the reforms and economic situation more effectively than PM Imran Khan has done.
“A new prime minister should be brought in an interim setup to bring these reforms for two months. If Imran Khan remains prime minister for six more months, even reforms won’t be able to save the country.”
He also criticized the prime minister of lying to the people.
“Inflation in the country is at its worst. Traders are worried sick. Imran Khan is lying about the economy.”
He further declared that there are three people in PTI who wanted to become the next Prime Minister.
“I know there are three people in the PTI who want to become prime minister and have already had their sherwanis made
