Karachi: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has just announced his upcoming sit-in in Islamabad and advised the opposition parties to participate in it.
However, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday has refused to participate in the sit-in. He stated that his party would not participate in Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s upcoming sit-in in Islamabad.
He has revealed the news during the media talk. He has also provided the reason for not attending the sit-in as his party was never involved in these types of rallies before.
He declared that “This was the initiative of Maulana Fazl, he took the initiative but it has been our party’s consistent policy that we do not participate in sit-ins.”
However, he asserted that they are fully supporting the issue about which Maulana Fazlur Rehman is raising his voice.
“We definitely support the issues that he’s raising and he will have our moral and political support,” he added.
