PTA Cracks Down on Unauthorized Internet Service Providers in Sargodha

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in its consistent endeavors to eliminate the widespread expansion of illegal internet providers led two successful attacks in Sargodha collaborating with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

The first raid occurred in RB Block, Rose Valley Society, while the second was led at Burj-e-Umar Plaza, Mian Khan Road. One person was arrested. Furthermore, different hardware of unlawful ISPs, including switches, routers, laptop, antennas, etc. These entities were giving ISP services without a valid license from PTA in Sargodha and surrounding regions.

In a statement, PTA said that the successful strikes against illegal ISPs were made conceivable due to consistent observing, responsibility, and constant endeavors to control the hazard of unlawful internet providers, in this way shortening the misfortune to the public exchequer concerning tax avoidance and distorting of incomes.
