PTA Unveils Latest Update for Free Mobile Registration in Pakistan: Explore the Details Here

Now, overseas Pakistanis and foreigners can easily register their mobile phones for a temporary period when visiting Pakistan. This means you can use your phone without any problems during your stay.

The Temporary Registration Facilitation lets you register your phone for up to 3 months without paying taxes. In the latest update, the authorities mentioned that if you’re from overseas, you can register your phone for 120 days from the day you arrive in Pakistan.

To get this service, just apply with your details like Passport, CNIC, or NICOP. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) explains how to use the Temporary Registration Facilitation system through DIRBS (Device Identification Registration and Blocking System).
