An FIR No 186/19 has been filed against the PTI lawmaker Malik Shahzad Awan under the sections 147/148/149/506B/504 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

The FIR is filed on the behalf of the state against the PTI legislator, Malik Shahzad Awan.

The video of Awan got viral on social media. He is clearly seen threatening an on duty cop in the recorded footage.

The video was widely shared by the masses on social media.

It is pertinent to note that the case was filed four days after the PTI lawmaker has threatened the cop against the extorting businessmen and traders in Saeedabad Sector 9, Pakora Chowk in Ittehad Town.

According to the SHO Pervez Ahmed Bhutto the case had been registered against the PTI MPA. However, he is still free and had not been arrested.

On the other hand, the PTI MPA announced that he will soon surrender himself to the police officials stating that they have a very weak and baseless case against him.

He further stated that he would never allow the corrupt elements existing within the police force to fool his citizens anymore. The police officials are eager to continue extortion, smuggling, drug peddling and land grabbing in Baldia Town.

During a media talk, he said that “I am not afraid of the case.”

He revealed that these policemen are wanted to trap him just because he has questioned their involvement in the drug peddling.
