Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Alamgir Khan gets into the hot waters after a clash with the PPP workers here on Sunday. The PTI leader was taken into the custody on Sunday.
Moreover, three other members of his Fixit campaign were also arrested after following a clash with Pakistan Peoples’ Party workers,
However, Alamgir Khan was released after a brief arrest.
The incident took place outside the office of Saeed Ghani who is the minister of Sindh for local government. On Sunday, the Member of the National Assembly was leading a protest which resulted in the clash between PTI’s Alamgir Khan and PPP’s workers.
Within a few minutes, the clash took a violent turn which resulted in the injuries of many people.
In the words of Khurram Sher Zaman, the party members were assaulted by police and the PPP workers. However, the senior superintendent of police (SSP) South district Sheeraz Nazeer has completely refuted the allegations.
He mentioned that the clash was a result of the resistance from both parties causing a lot of injuries.
