On the blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Federal government has announced four public holidays. These holidays would be observed most likely from June 4 to 7 which includes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
According to the recent sources, the moon of Shawwal-ul-Mukarram is likely to be sighted on the eve of June 4, hence, Eid-ul-Fitr would be celebrated on June 5, Wednesday.
According to the notification issued by the Interior Ministry on Tuesday, the nation would observe 4 days official holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr.
Moreover, there will also be a meeting over the moon sighting on June 4. Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman will be chairing the meeting of Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Sindh at Pakistan Meteorological Department building, Karachi.
