Lahore: Yesterday, the photos of Nawaz Sharif dining out in one of the cafes in London went viral on social media. In the wake of the recent controversy on his pictures, the Punjab Government sought fresh medical reports of Nawaz Sharif immediately.
It is worth noticing that the former PM has been given bail on the medical ground and was allowed to travel abroad. He has been granted a four-week bail back in November. However, his bail has been expired earlier on December 25, 2019.
Moreover, Punjab Health Minister Yasmin Rashid has also sought a detailed medical report of the former PM here on Tuesday. She said that the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif must submit his fresh medial report immediately.
Speaking to the media persons
While speaking to the media persons, she explained to them that the photos of the former PM are creating controversy in the country.
She explained that “Everyone has seen the viral photos of Nawaz Sharif on social media. We have asked Dr. Adnan (Nawaz’s physician) to tell us whether the leisurely outings of the former premier have anything to do with his health condition.”
Referring to the reports which were submitted earlier, she said, “The report does not mention anything new related to the treatment being accorded to Nawaz Sharif. We have written to the home department that we cannot give any opinion on the report.”
Restaurant has some special oxygen
She went on criticizing Nawaz Sharif’s recent dine out activities, “Sick people do not go out to dine at restaurants for fresh air unless the air at the restaurant has some special oxygen”.
Meanwhile, Nawaz Sharif’s Personal physician Dr. Adnan has tweeted and announced that the fresh medical reports of the former PM had been submitted to the government authorities this morning.
