Islamabad: According to the recent sources, Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud will be visiting Pakistan here on Thursday.
Sources revealed that he will be arriving in Pakistan on Thursday in order to discuss issues of mutual interest. Moreover, bilateral and regional problems will be discussed in length.
It is also been revealed through the Foreign Office spokesperson that the Saudi minister would call on Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss issues. He will also hold a meeting with the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi during his visit to Pakistan.
According to the statement from the Foreign Office spokesperson, “This would be his maiden visit to Pakistan, during which the exchange of views would cover bilateral matters and regional issues of mutual interest.”
It is pertinent to note that both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are enjoying a longstanding fraternal relationship.
Earlier PM Imran Khan also visited Saudi Crown Prince to discuss regional matters and security issues. The frequent visits between the leaders showed that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are keen to make their relationship even stronger than before.
The two countries are committed to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in all fields.
The Foreign Office said that “Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy a deep-rooted and longstanding fraternal relationship. The two countries are committed to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in all fields. Frequent high-level visits are a key feature of the relationship and serve to further deepen and broaden mutual collaboration”
The discussion to broaden the mutual collaboration will also be made during his visit to Pakistan.
