Seventeen new coronavirus cases emerge in Sindh

Karachi: On Tuesday, the Sindh health authorities have reported 17 new cases of coronavirus raising the total number of patients to 172.

Senator Murtaza Wahab has confirmed that the total number of coronavirus patients have rose to 17 in Sindh.


According to the sources, two patients out of 17 are belonged to Karachi. While the other 15 have arrived in Sukkur from Karachi.

Following the recent count, Karachi has witnessed total 37 coronavirus cases. Moreover, Hyderabad has also witnessed 1 positive case of the novel virus.

Earlier, about 135 pilgrims were tested positive for coronavirus after they arrived in Sukkar from Taftan. 140 more pilgrims were tested negative for the virus.

According to the sources, the total number of positive coronavirus cases has raised to 237 across the country.
