Shagufta Ejaz recently lost her mother. Her mother battled cancer for a long time, and her journey was everything but simple. She was a really brave woman who endured her therapy without faltering, although it was no simple task.

Shagufta used her YouTube channel to raise awareness of cancer and stressed the importance of early detection. She revealed that her mother underwent a hysterectomy after being diagnosed with uterine cancer. Shagufta was devastated by the diagnosis because she didn’t know at the time that cancer is curable if caught early.

Years later, her mother developed breast cancer, but it wasn’t treatable because it was discovered in stage 4. She discussed the value of recognizing physical abnormalities and the crucial role that family support plays during treatment. Her mother passed away later in 2021 after the cancer progressed to her organs.

Shagufta emphasized the significance of cancer awareness and the necessity of testing for those with a family history of the disease.
