Islamabad: A few days back, PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif has filed a complaint against ‘The Mail’ (A British publication) mentioning that it has plotted fake story against him.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar on Sunday claimed that Shahbaz Sharif has filed a complaint against The Mail instead of going to the court.
Addressing a news conference, he stated that the only way to recover the looted money of the nation is to arrest Shahbaz Sharif as well.
He challenged the PML-N President that “If you are right, then why not go to court?”
He further demanded him to make his letter of the complaint public.
He also threw light on a tweet that he has posted on July 26. He mentioned in this tweet that,
“I’m only going to make one comment on Shahbaz Sharif recent statements. He complains the earthquake was in 2005 before he became CM. But according to evidence already aired in a Pakistani court, the alleged thefts from the quake relief fund were in 2009 and 2011. Refutation?”
Shahzad Akbar further asked Shahbaz to attend the court,
“I am feeling left out. You sent a legal notice to The Mail, send me one too. I have packed my suitcase and I’m ready to appear in court in London, where you likely won’t go, and I will stand there and tell the truth about what you have done”
