According to the local media, it has been revealed that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif has claimed that Maryam should meet her ailing father Nawaz Sharif.
On Wednesday, he said that Maryam Nawaz should be allowed to meet his father who is about to undergo a surgery in London.
Taking to his twitter handle, he wrote how Nawaz’s treatment is canceling every time because of the absence of Maryam Nawaz as she is not allowed by the government to travel abroad.
He said, “The procedure required for Nawaz’s treatment had to be changed twice because his daughter Maryam, who wanted to be with her father at that time, was not allowed to come from Pakistan.”
He further revealed that Nawaz is fighting a battle for life and his daughter is not there to see him. He requested that she should be allowed to visit her ailing father.
“Maryam should have been with Nawaz but she was not allowed to travel abroad to meet her ailing father.”
Earlier in November, Nawaz and Shehbaz were given permission to travel abroad by the Lahore High Court (LHC). The two-member bench was comprising of Justice Ali Baqar Najafi and Justice Sardar Ahmad Naeem. They allowed Nawaz to seek medical treatment abroad.
