On Tuesday, almost 6.1 magnitude earth quake has shaken major parts of Pakistan including, Islamabad, Lahore, Sukkur, Rawalpindi, Multan, Karachi, Mirpur, and many others.
The earth quake damaged houses, buildings, roads, trees and electricity pools. Almost 30 people have lost their lives and more than 500 were injured.
Opposition party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Shehbaz Sharif has expressed sympathies and condolence to the families of the flood affected people. He prayed for the departed soul.
He expressed his concerns for the bereaved families.
In a tweet, he said that “I express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the earthquake.”
He further advised his party workers to provide necessary measures to rescue the injured ones, especially in the region of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
“Prayers for the injured for quick recovery. May Allah keep us safe from calamities!”
