He advised them to set up urgent shelters and arranged food “for those who cannot be accommodated in existing Panagahs.”

PM Imran took to his Twitter handle and directed the chief ministers to set up temporary shelters.

He wrote, “Given the extremely cold weather conditions I have asked CMs of Punjab and KP to ensure that no person is left out without shelter; & their administrations must take immediate action to provide temporary shelters plus food for those who cannot be accommodated in existing Panagahs.”

Under PM Imran Khan’s instructions, the district administration of Kohat has opened shelter homes for the poor homeless people here on Monday. The shelter house has been opened near old Jail Road in Kohat.

Commissioner Syed Abdul Jabbar Shah and Deputy Commissioner Matiullah Khan have inaugurated the shelter home.

While taking to his Twitter handle, Deputy Commissioner Matiullah Khan wrote, “In compliance with the directive of worthy Prime Minister of Pakistan, the shelter has been provided and food is being served to the homeless at Shelter Home Kohat.”

It is worth noticing that PM Imran and his government has arranged the first shelter back in 2018. The government is keen to make sure that the poor homeless people enjoy good food and shelters during these rough winter days.
