“Solidarity to be shown with Kashmiris tomorrow”: DG ISPR


Rawalpindi: While chairing a conference which was participated by civil and military officials at the ISPR auditorium, DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor has discussed events regarding the Defence day, 06 September.

During the Conference, he has also discussed events related to show solidarity with the people of Indian occupied Kashmir on Friday, 30 August.

On Wednesday, he mentioned that the whole nation should get united to show their love and support for Kashmiris. While discussing events he stated that slogans like “Kashmir Banay Ga Pakistan” will also be the part of events.

He further said that “Only facilities of martyrs and Ghazis will attend the ceremony.”

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) would lay a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada at the General Headquarters (GHQ). Moreover, the programme of meeting with the families of the martyrs will also be followed this year.

“This year also, we will reach out to the families of every martyr at their residences.”

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday has addressed the nation regarding the issues of Indian Occupied Kashmir. He has urged the nation to stand united and show solidarity with Kashmiris on Friday, 30 August for half an hour, from 12 pm to 12:30 pm.
