A three-member bench of Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, has announced the verdict on Tuesday. The court has suspended Nawaz Sharif’s sentence for six weeks by granting him bail on medical grounds.
According to the statement provided by the court, Nawaz will have to surrender himself after six weeks. However, in case, his health doesn’t improve after the six weeks, then he can apply for an extension in his bail.

The verdict also claims that Nawaz Sharif is not allowed to leave the country for six months.

Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Harris has requested the court for bail for eight weeks. He said that Nawaz Sharif should be allowed to consult his doctors.
Harris said that Nawaz Sharif will surely complete his imprisonment once his health improves. He further stated that Nawaz Sharif will not go abroad without the advice of his doctor.
