Temple reopened in Sialkot after 72 years


Sialkot: It is being reported by the Geo news officials that a temple in Sialkot was reopened after 72 years here on Tuesday.

It was indeed good news for the Hindu community living in Sialkot. After 72 years they were able to worship and perform their religious rituals at the temple.

They have distributed sweets after their temple ”Shawala Teja Singh temple” was reopened after 72 years.

The Hindus greeted each other out of excitement and joy. They warmly thanked the current government who has taken care of the minorities more than any other government had done. 

Local Hindu leaders Rattan Lal, Ramaish Kumar, Dr. Munawar Chand, Amarnath Randhawa, and Pandit Kashi Ram have successfully performed their religious rituals at the templ after 72 years.

They hailed the Pakistan government’s decision of reopening the temple.
