According to the local media sources, the film titled ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ will soon hit your cinema screens as the legal cases against it are being withdrawn.
Though, the team behind the film has not announced a confirm date. However, there are a lot of chances about it to be releasing this year on the event of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Earlier, the film has created quite a hype within the public as they were eager to see the most awaited film. It was indeed a grand project for the team and the director of the film, Bilal Lashari.
As the film was going to release, it faced a legal battle and the case against it was being filed by the producer Sarwar Bhatti. However, for now, the sources revealed that Sarwar Bhatti has withdrawn the case against it and soon it will hit your cinema screens.
According to the Entertainment Pk, Sarwar Bhatti said that,
“Ammara Hikmat and Bilal Lashari are like my children. Someone misguided them however all kids tend to make mistakes and therefore I am willing to put everything behind me. I am doing this for their welfare, for the revival of cinema and for giving the much needed boast to Pakistan film industry. I will no longer be a hurdle in the release of The Legend of Maula Jatt. Ammara Hikmat and Bilal Lashari can release their film on Eid-ul-Fitr or on any date they would like to release the film. I will support them.”
It is pertinent to note that the first trailer of ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ came out back in 2018. And ever since the film’s release has been postponed.
It is also worth noticing that the film is featuring Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, and Hamza Ali Abbasi in the lead roles. Moreover, the other cast includes Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Shafqat Cheema, Nayyar Ejaz, and Saima Baloch in pivotal roles.
