As per the State Bank of Pakistan, the rupee shut down at 281.86 against the US dollar, demonstrating a Rs0.07 increment contrasted with the past rate in the inter-bank market.
Closing the year at 281.86 against the US dollar, the Pakistani rupee encountered a 19.7% devaluation from its initial worth of 226.43 in the inter-bank market for 2023, highlighting a huge decrease in its worth over time.
In the preceding Thursday’s exchange meeting, the Pakistani rupee displayed a humble increase, finishing up at 281.93 against the US dollar in the inter-bank market, reflecting a marginal improvement in its worth during that specific trading session.
