Rawalpindi: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa has visited the Line of Control here on Monday. During his visit, he cleared that Pakistan won’t agree for any compromise made on the land of Kashmir.
According to the Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor, the COAS has visited the Line of Control, where he addressed the troops on duty.
Through a tweet, the DG ISPR mentioned that the chief of the army staff General Qamar Bajwa would never settle for any compromise made on Kashmir.
He stated that Pakistan is all after peace and the rest of the world especially India should not consider it as a sign of weakness.
He took to his twitter handle and wrote, “There will never be a compromise on Kashmir whatever the cost. We are capable & fully prepared to thwart any misadventure/aggression for the defence of our motherland.”

Apart from visiting LoC, he also paid attention and visit to the Combined Military Hospital, Muzaffarabad. He met with all those soldiers who have got injured during Indian forces’ unprovoked firing across the line of control.
It is worth mentioning that two civilians were martyred while the other two were injured as a result of India’s unprovoked firing across the LoC on December 19.
