Times Square lights up with ‘Free Kashmir’ signs

Amid the tensions between Pakistan and India, New York’s iconic “Times Square” lit up showing solidarity with the people of Kashmir.

The Muslim majority regions in the Indian occupied Kashmir have been under the Indian atrocities. However, the Pakistani community members have shown a strong protest against the Modi government.

They protested outside the United Nations Headquarters. They have raised their voice against Indian aggression in the occupied Kashmir valley.

Moreover, the Houston protest which chanted anti-Modi slogans by saying “Howdy, Modi” and “Free Kashmir” has also served great importance.

The Pakistan Government’s official twitter page has also shown the picture of the Times Square which lit up to show solidarity with Kashmir here on Thursday.

The lines ‘Stand with Kashmir’, ‘Restore Human Rights’ and ‘Free Kashmir’ were highlighted on Times Square.

The tweet reads,

“With the extraordinary efforts of PM Imran Khan, Kashmir issue has now become a global concern. The voice of people of Indian occupied Kashmir is once again being heard in the highest diplomatic forums. ‘Stand with Kashmir’ has been highlighted on Times Square today.”
