Islamabad: The Pakistan Premier Imran Khan has advised the civil and military leaders to contact officials in US and Iran.

It is worth noticing that the US-Iran tensions have been increasing with each passing day. The matter has sought international importance as well.

PM advised the civil-military leaders to approach the two nations and make efforts to bring peace in the region.

Through a Tweet, PM Imran Khan urged the Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to visit and hold talks with the foreign ministers of US and Iran.

PM said that “Pakistan is ready to play its role for peace but it can never again be part of any war.”

PM’s tweet reads as “I have asked FM Qureshi to visit Iran, KSA and USA to meet with respective foreign ministers, Secretary of States; & COAS Gen Bajwa to contact relevant military leaders to convey a clear message: Pakistan is ready to play its role for peace but it can never again be part of any war.”

Earlier the Chief of Army staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has also advised the two nations to avoid rhetoric. He urged them “to avoid rhetoric in favour of diplomatic engagement.”
