Van catches fire near Al-Qadir University, Jhelum

Rawalpindi: It is being reported that a van carrying almost 16 passengers caught fire at GT Road near Al-Qadir University in Jhelum late on this Sunday. The detailed report of the incident revealed that at least seven people were killed and several others sustained severe injuries.

The van was on its way to Rawalpindi from Lahore has suddenly caught fire at GT road. As per the reports the van caught fire owing to a short circuit or leakage in the gas cylinder.

The terrible incident has taken place near Taraki Toll Plaza Sohawa, Jhelum district, where the foundation stone of Al-Qadir University earlier on the day has been laid by the Prime Minister Imran Khan.
