Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan has addressed the nation yesterday while shedding light on the devastating effects of the coronavirus across the universe.
During his address, he clearly gives his decision of not imposing limited ‘lockdown’ in major countries including Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.
He is of the view that Pakistan’s economy is already weak and fragile and they can’t take risk of imposing temporary lockdown in the major countries. Doing so will surely shake the economy of the country.
The entire universe is under the spell of the deadly coronavirus. Even all the major and developed countries could not stop its spread how could we? It is obvious that COVID-19 will spread across the countries and we only need to take precautionary measures.
It is worth noticing that the first case of coronavirus in Pakistan was reported on Feb 26th.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan has warned the nation to act responsibly amid coronavirus fears across the country. The coronavirus cases have surged in the country and there is a lot of panic and anxiety among the masses.
For now, the PM of Pakistan has imposed temporary ‘lockdown’ in a few of the cities. Sindh has witnessed most of the COVID-19 cases within a couple of days. The federal government has announced the closure of all the big shopping malls, parking spots, and playing areas across the country.
