“General Elections Prompt Karachi University to Postpone Examinations”

Karachi University has made the decision to postpone the examinations originally set for February 6, as announced by an official on Friday. The decision to postpone the February 6 exams at Karachi University is attributed to the upcoming general elections, the official stated.

Moreover, the official confirmed that the new date for the exams is February 14, with no changes to the examination centers or timings. Additionally, the University Senate meeting, previously scheduled for February 6, has also been postponed. The rescheduled date for the meeting will be announced at a later time.

It’s important to note that educational institutions throughout the province will be closed for four days from February 6 to 9 due to the forthcoming general elections in the country.

In compliance with the directive from the Sindh Education Department, both private and public schools, colleges, and universities will observe closure during this period.
