“Honor X50i+ Launched as Among the Most Lightweight Phones in 2023”
On Monday, Honor introduced its latest smartphone, the X50i+, boasting a 108 MP primary camera, a sleek design, and an appealing price tag.
The focal point of the Honor X50i+ is its 6.7” AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. A distinctive feature is the 8MP selfie camera, ingeniously placed within an oval cutout, lending the phone a unique and eye-catching appearance.
Noteworthy for its svelte dimensions, measuring a mere 6.78mm in thickness and weighing only 166 grams, the X50i+ distinguishes itself as one of the lightest smartphones introduced in 2023.
Equipped with a Mediatek Dimensity 6080 chipset, the device comes paired with 12 GB of RAM and offers storage options of 256 GB or 512 GB. Out of the box, the X50i+ runs on MagicOS 7.2, layered atop Android 13.
While the camera design features a flattened circle for a touch of intrigue, the sensors within the Honor X50i+ are relatively standard, comprising a 108MP main camera with an f/1.75 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor.
The smartphone houses a 4,500 mAh battery and supports a modest 33W charging speed. In terms of aesthetics, the Honor X50i+ is available in four color options—Powder Gold and Light Blue with sparkling details, as well as Black and Green with plain panels. Pricing starts at $220 for the 256 GB version and goes up to $245 for the 512 GB variant.
