Aizaz Cheema to be Pakistan Shaheens head coach, reports say.
Aizaz Cheema is reportedly being appointed as the head coach of Pakistan Shaheens for their tour of Zimbabwe. The former cricketer is expected to take charge of the team soon. PCB is yet to make an official announcement regarding his appointment.
Abdul Rahman was supposed to be the head coach of Pakistan Shaheens for their tour of Zimbabwe. However, due to the delayed arrival of the foreign coaching staff of the national team, he will now supervise the training sessions at the national camp from April 7 onwards.
Once head coach Grant Bradburn arrives, Abdul Rahman will transition to the role of assistant coach at the national camp mentioned previously. The Pakistan Cricket Board is expected to make an announcement soon regarding the team manager for Pakistan Shaheens. No further details are available at this time.
Saboor Ahmed and Muhammad Asad have been appointed as the trainer and physiotherapist respectively for the Pakistan Shaheens squad. They will be responsible for ensuring the players are in optimal physical condition for their upcoming matches.
Pakistan Shaheens, led by Imran Butt, are set to embark on a tour of Zimbabwe from May 3 to 27. The team will travel to Zimbabwe for a series of matches, which will be led by their captain, Imran Butt. The tour is expected to last for a few weeks and will be a significant opportunity for the Pakistan Shaheens to showcase their skills and compete against Zimbabwe’s national team.
