INDEPENDENT ACTION: EU AND UK PUSH THROUGH RUSSIA SANCTIONS, IGNORING TRUMP’S TIMELINE

Tensions between Russia and other countries remain high after Vladimir Putin’s response to Trump’s call for a ceasefire failed to ease the situation.

Europe and britain put sanctions russia without waiting for the trump. The main target is the  shadow fleet of oil tankers and financial networks used to circumvent existing restrictions.

Europe banned more ships of Russia that carry illegal russian oil. Now, the number of ships that are banned exceeds 350. The EU also froze money and banned travel for Russian officials and companies involved in the war.

At the same time, uk has banned the groups responsible for helping Russia’s military, oil exports, or banking system. More than 18 ships have been punished by the UK.

This development came after a call between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. America demands a complete ceasefire in Ukraine, but Russia rejected this demand.  After this, Europe and the U.K imposed sanctions to support Ukraine in this war.

A reaction is expected from Russia, but it is uncertain what Russia will do in these sanctions.

If the ceasefire happens, all the countries will agree to lift the sanctions on Russia.
