Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan have been selected as the confirmed host cities for PSL 9.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced where the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will take place. The selected host cities are Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Multan.

The tournament will start with a match in Lahore on February 18. However, some teams are worried about the cold weather and fog during that time.

A big issue is the final match planned for Karachi on March 19. Teams are concerned about not having many people in the audience, which could affect ticket sales. To address this, Multan Sultans suggested having the final in Multan, where they think they can get more fans.

Even though Peshawar Zalmi really wants matches in Peshawar and promises to finish building the stadium in two months, the PCB hasn’t decided if Peshawar will be one of the host cities.

There are also concerns about having two matches in one day during the holy month of Ramadan in March. The complete schedule will be revealed on December 13 during the PSL draft event, and the PCB confirmed that the whole tournament will happen in Pakistan.

This decision is important because there were talks about moving the PSL to the UAE because of general elections in Pakistan. But the PCB wants to keep the tournament in Pakistan, showing their commitment even with challenges.
