Lahore’s First Floating Restaurant to Open on Canal
Lahore is ready to unveil its very first floating restaurant, a never-before-seen attraction. The place is set at Lahore Canal near Harbanspura. The park and horticulture authority will be funding this Rs 350 million worth of project that the PHA will construct a restaurant like no other seen in Lahore.
It will have more than a place to dine in because the restaurant is floating. The cafes, seating areas, and play zones for children have been planned in the floating restaurant, so it is also a recreational hub for families. It’s going to provide an interesting yet relaxing atmosphere for both locals and tourists.
Three companies—Babar & Co, HRD Construction, and Riyaz Enterprises—will be working to get this elaborate dream a real form. These will bring forth their technical acumen in such a way that the project delivers world-class results with a taste of innovation for Lahore’s amusement venues.
In addition to the floating restaurant, the PHA is working on rebuilding a lesser-used picnic place near the canal. The transformation in this area will make this a lively destination with proper facilities for families and visitors coming out to spend a whole day.
This is going to be a redefinition of leisure and tourism in Lahore as the PHA transforms the canal area into the new place for dining, relaxation, and entertainment. The floating restaurant is expected to be a major attraction of the city for a family outing or even as a tourist stop. It is going to add a new dimension to Lahore’s cultural and recreational scene.
