The popular messaging app WhatsApp from Meta is currently working on adding a variety of features. A few small but significant updates have been made to WhatsApp’s camera and photo editing feature, both of which are now available.
As usual, WABetaInfo was the only one to find these features.
Finally, WhatsApp now provides separate photo and video recording choices in the camera section. This should eliminate the requirement for you to hold the button depressed when recording videos.
Slide to the Video option and tap once to start recording. Tap once more to end the recording, just like most Android camera apps. While recording, you can do this to swap between the front and back cameras.
It’s not typical for WhatsApp to roll out new capabilities to all users at once, but this update is an exception. The most recent beta version is available to everyone, thus its release is soon.
