This dramatic price hike follows the event selling out in under an hour, leaving countless fans empty-handed despite enduring long online queues.
With tickets selling like hotcakes, most of the fans were very disappointed that they could not buy the tickets. The people who were lucky to get tickets now are making millions by selling those tickets at prices sky-rocketing to heavens.
It has sparked widespread frustration, with fans harshly targeting resellers for their greedy exploitation of cricketing enthusiasts’ desperation. The skyrocketing prices are also an issue for ticket scalping and whether true fans would be able to afford attending the blockbuster match.
