The Vivo iQOO Neo 9 is set to arrive with an elegant dual-tone leather back design.
Vivo’s iQOO sub-brand has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming Neo 9 series in the Chinese market, confirming earlier leaks that hinted at a December 27 release. The teaser video not only revealed the launch date but also showcased the design of the iQOO Neo 9. The device is set to feature a stylish dual-tone leather back in a striking red and white combination, complemented by a flat OLED screen and a dual-camera setup on the rear. While black and blue color variants will be available, the leather back option will be exclusive to the red and white model.
The teaser also confirmed the use of the Dimensity 9300 chipset and iQOO’s internally developed Q1 chip for enhanced graphics. Reports suggest that the Neo 9 will incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with the Pro model benefiting from the latest Dimensity 9300 chip. Notably, this same chip powers the Vivo X100 series and is expected to be featured in the upcoming Oppo Find X7, scheduled for a late January debut.
In a recent update, it has been revealed that iQOO is gearing up to reveal its inaugural smartwatch, the iQOO Watch, in conjunction with the Neo 9 series. Furthermore, there are anticipations for the introduction of the iQOO TWS 1e earbuds. However, official confirmation from the brand about the launch of these devices is still awaited. With over a week remaining until the iQOO Neo 9’s debut in China, there is sufficient time for the brand to unveil more teasers.
