Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi extended his congratulations to Shadab Khan for being named as the skipper of the Pakistan team for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Afghanistan. Afridi expressed his happiness for the young player and wished him the best of luck in his new role as captain.
On Twitter, Shahid Afridi showed his support for the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) decision to name Shadab Khan as the captain of the team for the upcoming T20I series against Afghanistan. Afridi praised the PCB for their strategy of resting senior players and providing opportunities to young and talented leaders like Shadab to showcase their abilities. He lauded the decision as a step towards building a strong and competitive team for Pakistan’s future in cricket.
