CM Maryam Unveils Plan for 100,000 E-Bikes for Students in Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced a plan to distribute 100,000 e-bikes among students in the province. The announcement was made at the launch of the second phase of the Honhar Scholarship program at FAST University in Islamabad.

The initiative is expected to ease the daily commutes of students, which would help them focus more on their studies. CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized that improved mobility would enable students to attend classes without the worry of transportation challenges. She underscored that this move is part of the government’s broader efforts to enhance access to education and support student welfare.

The distribution of the e-bikes aims at equipping students, making access easier, and providing ample time for educational progression. With modern, environment-friendly means of transport, students will be able to find accessible ways to achieve their school objectives.

This initiative falls into line with the broader Punjab government’s vision of investing in education and empowering students. Not only are scholarships and other forms of support included but also e-bikes will help the students overcome many challenges they face in daily lives.

Transportation can help ensure that all Punjab’s students can achieve their fullest potentials to become a part of an educated and affluent society.
