Moin khan endorses Shaheen Afridi for Pakistan captain.
Moin Khan, a former Pakistan cricketer, has suggested that Shaheen Shah Afridi is the ideal candidate to lead Pakistan’s cricket team in the upcoming days. According to him, Shaheen Afridi is the best choice for the captaincy due to his impressive performances in recent times.
Moin Khan recently spoke to the media and expressed his disappointment with the rumors surrounding Shadab Khan’s removal from the position of vice-captain of the pakistan national cricket team. He shared his belief that Shadab has shown great potential and has a lot to offer to the team.
Shaheen Afridi could be the best option for the next captain because there is a need to have young players as backup for the future.
He also mentioned that Shaheen Afridi’s leadership skills were impressive during the eighth season of Pakistan Super League (PSL), as he led Lahore Qalandars to two championships. Therefore, Shaheen’s eligibility for the captaincy should not be ignored.
“It would be unfair to judge Shadab Khan’s captaincy skills on the basis of just one series where he had a young and inexperienced team with him,” said Moin Khan.
Former cricketer Rashid Latif had claimed that the current administration of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is attempting to penalize Shadab Khan for telling the truth.
“Latif also claimed that the PCB is trying to silence Shadab Khan for speaking the truth and disturb him to the point of leaving cricket and becoming a psycho. He added that 90% of Pakistan players become mentally unstable after retiring because of the PCB.”
“He concluded by saying, “I don’t understand who appoints these people to the board.”
