Pakistan bowls first in warm-up match
Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first against Sri Lanka Cricket Board XI in the two-day warm-up match held at Hambantota on Tuesday.
During the match, Hassan Ali showcased his bowling skills and took several wickets. However, it was Oshada Fernando who garnered attention with his impressive and tenacious innings. Despite facing a strong bowling attack, Fernando showcased remarkable resilience and determination, refusing to succumb to the mounting pressure. With great caution, he analyzed each ball and displayed excellent shot selection along with superb technique.
Fernando’s skillful batting rewarded him with a well-deserved century, marking a significant milestone in his innings.
In the meantime, Imam ul Haq, renowned for his vibrant on-field persona, consistently showcased his enthusiasm and unwavering dedication. He left no stone unturned in demonstrating his athleticism, be it diving to halt the ball’s progress or sprinting to prevent runs.
