Quaid-e-Azam Posters Showcased in Tehran After 30 Years
For the first time in three decades, Tehran, Iran, displayed posters of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on prominent positions as a token of solidarity for Pakistan. This has been part of the weeklong celebrations undertaken by the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI).
The Urdu Language Student Union of Iran and the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran collaborated to organize the events. During the ceremony, ECI President Dr. Saad S. Khan appreciated Jinnah’s visionary leadership and his role in uniting Muslims for independence.
The event included various cultural activities such as essay contests, live performances, and a special documentary highlighting the philosophy of Allama Iqbal.
The display of Jinnah’s posters along with cultural events was a gesture to pay homage to Pakistan’s founding father and to highlight the strong cultural and historical bonds between Pakistan and Iran.
This effort was well appreciated for its promotion of cultural awareness and appreciation of a common heritage. By paying tribute to Jinnah’s legacy, the event stressed the importance of unity and cooperation between the neighboring nations.
This symbolic gesture has further strengthened the bond between Pakistan and Iran, opening a new chapter of mutual respect and cultural exchange.
