JUNE 7 MAY BRING EID UL ADHA FESTIVITIES TO PAKISTAN — HERE’S WHAT TO KNOW
As the month of Zulqda is about to end, and the holy month of Zulhajj is about to start in a week. In this month muslims celebrate the festival of Eid, known as festive of Sacrifice.
Eid may be celebrated on June 7, 2025, according to the forecast of local and international astronomers. This thing is not confirmed yet, but early forecasted reports said that June 7 will be the day of EID.
In Pakistan, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is responsible for announcing the date of important Islamic days, including EID, Ramzan, etc, followed by the traditional moon sighting method.
The crescent of Zulhajj will be visible on May 28, according to astronomers, which holds a higher chance that Eid may be on June 7. The moon will be more than 35 years old, which makes it visible to be seen.
In UAE, Eid will be celebrated on June 6, says the Emirates Astronomy Society.
This festival is the memory of Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S). It remembers the story from the quran where Prophet Ibrahim was ready to sacrifice his son for god.
Moreover, this festival is also celebrated by prayers, desert, and meat.
