Launch of the Honda Civic RS Hybrid for PKR 81 Lacs

In Malaysia, the Honda Civic Hybrid, sometimes referred to as the Honda Civic e: HEV, was unveiled today. The sedan is the top-of-the-line model in the 11th generation Civic lineup, according to media reports. The automobile was introduced by Honda Malaysia for RM166,500 (PKR 810,575), a fair price for a hybrid car.

Dimensions

The 4,678mm long, 1,802mm wide, and 1,415mm height C-segment car has a 2,734mm wheelbase. Additionally, it features a 128mm ground clearance. The automobile now weighs 1,445 kilos due to the addition of hybrid components, an increase of about 100 kilogrammes. A 1.05KWh, 72-cell lithium-ion battery with a weight of 37 kg powers the car.

Power

The new Civic’s electric powertrain makes 181 horsepower and 315 Nm of torque. The front wheels receive the power via an electronic continuously variable gearbox (E-CVT). The motor is coupled with a 2.0 litre, 4-cylinder, normally aspirated engine that makes 141 horsepower at 6,000 revolutions per minute and 189 Nm of torque.

In 7.9 seconds, the new Honda Civic hybrid can accelerate from 0 to 100 mph.
