MORE TIME TO APPLY! GOVERNMENT EXTENDS PM LAPTOP SCHEME DEADLINE FOR STUDENTS
Good news for all the students out there. The government has extended the deadline for applying in the PM YOUTH LAPTOP SCHEME.
Initially, the deadline was about 30 May 2025. The government has made this decision just because of the students waiting for their final results. One phase of the scheme is already completed, and many students have received the laptop under this scheme.
In this phase of the scheme, there will be 100,000 laptops distributed among the deserving students.
The opportunity is open to students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, MS/MPhil, or PhD programs, as long as they meet a few academic requirements.
To qualify, students typically need a minimum CGPA of 2.80 or at least 60% marks. For those just starting, like first-year university students, your intermediate (HSSC) results will be considered. Meanwhile, if you’re in your first semester of MS or PhD, you’ll be asked to submit transcripts from your previous degree.
The purpose of this scheme is to fill the gap in the tech field so that the students can equip themselves with digital skills that can help them earn while studying.
So, hurry up and apply in the PM LAPTOP SCHEME before you miss the deadline again.
