CRYPTO IN CHECK: PAKISTAN SETS UP DIGITAL ASSETS REGULATOR
Crypto, a new asset, a new thing, there is a crypto boom all over the world, and Pakistan is planning to officially jump into the digital currency and crypto.
As the ways of communication change, the way of investment also changes, and cryptocurrency is one of them.
As more Pakistanis turn to crypto for their investments, the officials have made a body for digital assets and currency approval and management named the Pakistan Digital Assets Authority (PDAA).
The authority is responsible for the management and licensing of digital currencies. The authority has a goal to regulate the 25 B+ informal crypto. Moreover, the body have to regulate with the FATF guidelines of innovation and regulation.
In this regard, the former founder of Binance (the largest crypto exchange in the world), Changpeng Zhao, visited Pakistan. He has been appointed advisor for this regulatory authority.
This authority can provide more clarity and confidence among crypto investors in Pakistan.
